Fantastic video 👍wife and I have job offers in NYC and the boulder/denver area, and we have been agonizing over the choice. We are big nature people, and videos like this are so helpful in terms of giving us a sense of what the geography looks like and the types of adventures we can expect to have. Awesome data you are providing, and definitely swinging us more towards CO.
Good you don’t know some secret hikes
Beautiful photography and exceptional drone shots. As a Colorado native, yeah there’s lot’s more too. And wouldn’t you know it, now that your video is all done, they rename Mt Evans to Mount Blue Sky!
Love the list.
Welcome Kevin. Lesson one for living here and not driving the "natives" absolutely crazy listening to you: it’s not "Coloraado ("a" in "father"), its "Coloraddo" ("a" as in "add"). Say that and we will regard you as a homey.
Treasure Falls below Wolf Creek Pass ( southern side ).
Thanks Kevin for such an AMAZING review of many of Colorado’s beautiful places! Just south of the Great Sand Dunes is Zapuda Falls, a short but beautiful hike of 1.3 miles that is close enough to enjoy. I’ve been to many of these locations as I have lived in the Denver area since 1972, but you brought to my attention a few I’ve never heard of. This summer I plan and visiting a few of the easier ones since I certainly can’t do 5-7 mile hikes and 2000+ elevation changes! Heck, before I turned 60 it was a struggle to do Hanging Lake (1-1/4 mile hike, 1,100′ elevation change). I’ve bookmarked your video and will be referring back to it.
I’m new in CO and you have just fed my curiosity to go and discover new places and adventures! I’m so excited!
is there a 2024 version :)??
Nice! Just got stationed here, this will be super helpful
I gotta call BS on "Not many waterfalls in Colrado". There are thousands of them.
nice
Super video…for out of staters…would be nice to show small MAP and a star for each spot…so we can get an idea of where it is within the state.
Thank you 👍
Clear, concise and no filler talk. Great helpful videos without too much time wasting. Also really good video giving a nice feel of the areas.
Amazing list!
This was awesome! Thank you
Went to colorado for the second time. Its almost like this place cannot be completely explored. 4days is No where near enough time. Going back again!
The video footage is amazing but the voice-over very poor & echoing.
The artesian springs in Gunnison, omg, best water anywhere
Cloverdale Mine

Cool video. Have you been to Mesa Verde National Park?
Question: Are Ice Lake and Island Lake not near St.Mary´s, means here: https://maps.app.goo.gl/k7SpYs1JoTVBNi4K8 ? You say it´s near Silverton, but I dont find any of them at Google Maps. Can you maybe post the Location?
AMAZING CHANNEL. Well done.
Kevin,
Isn’t Decalibron part of the legislative case where the owner made the hiking route private? Is there some other access where you can avoid private land?
Great video! Thanks for the info!
great content
Amazing video!! It helps a lot!!
Heading to co first week of sept. Couple of these are definitely making their way into my itinerary
I wish people would stop moving here from out of state. Please go back to where you came and stop changing Colorado
Amazing travel guide 👍
We are planning to go colorado in next 2 weeks, so I want to know is everything is open or closed because of snow ? Is it a better plan to go to Colorado in this month ?
hiii! is island lake, still good for visiting? are there any camping sites near??? thanks!!!

Gorgeous places! Thanks for the video.
I hope this isn’t a stupid question to ask – but how should I prepare for hikes/outdoor activities in these places regarding wildlife? I come from Austria, where we do not have to worry about encounters with bears, wolves, etc.
I will be visiting Colorado this summer and I want to be prepared.
Bear spray, … ?
Thank you for making this !!!
Can plan several trips to CO based off this video alone!
Fascinating! Thanks for sharing!
What I’d like to know is in which lake did they release the prehistoric sharks??? 😢
Just came across your many videos and my parents and I loved your fantastic pictures . The picturesque springs, falls, canyons and woods are truly spectacular & patiently photographed. My parents would add “please use different vocab and not super and awesome all the time.” Love from North Queensland and Brisbane. ❤❤😂
Can’t believe you climb like that in the winter!
They say the best train ride is from Durango to Silverton Colorado.
My Great Grandparents came from Dillon, Co, the one they submerged
Columbine Lake and Blue Lakes Trail are musts.
This video is absolute gem.
How is the water temperature at lake haiyana in the summer? Is it warm enough to swim?
Great video! Deciding if I should move to Denver soon and this was the best video I’ve come across! Would love to see a similar vid focused on the city itself
Going again in May, will check these out. Thanks!
New to hiking some one please explain why I have to pay to walk I the mountains what type of crap is that.
Why is damn near every place you visit shown in WINTER??! I’m looking for places that are pretty in the SUNMER, as I would imagine most hikers are… I’m not going skiing, I’m going hiking! The video is titled best hikes!! Wtf
Woooww
