Great scenery, looks like it is an action cam on a tripod, isn’t it easier to round with the head mount, so that both hands are free and good for running balance?

I love these virtual runs, but how do you guys avoid falling off the treadmill when you think you have to step down, due to an actual step down in the scenic path?
Could be a nice run video but I have to stop so often to skip commercials for me, it is unusable.
