I used to be interested in birdwatching and I very much regret that I did not make livelist. now that the passion has returned I have to ,,start all over again"
https://youtu.be/qvDUbGKvkUc
I hope soon to receive P1000, first idea was to take random photos. But later realised I can list birds in area. Really interesting 😊
Im here because i just walked outside and saw a cardinal and thought "I’m gonna get into bird watching." 😅
Hi, Stefano. How do you use eBird to record the birds you see?
I JUST STARTING THIS HOBBY U GUYS THATS THAT HAVE BEEN DOING THIS AWHILE PLEASE SEND ME SOME INFORMATION THANK YOU
Speaking of ebird… I’m going to an island this week where there are no recorded bird sightings on ebird. I will probably be the first!
Thank you! I have all kinds of “birding for beginners” tips that I was confused! This video helped make things focused so I can just start!
I love birds! 🦜🐥🐦
Well documented, kudos for the effort.
Thank you Stefano!!!
Thank you, for all the tips,I’m very impressed for your input.
I like the birdwatching
This is great my friend. I like it.
Many don’t realise that when you put a list of birds publicly using eBird, you are supplying the list to poachers who will go through that to find the exact bird they want to capture. In countries where enforcement is scarce, we tend to lose our species from indiscriminate reporting that way. No, we birders here don’t expose our wild birds this way.
Great video, lots of helpful tips!
I decided to get into birding an hour ago. Unfortunately, where I live there isn’t a lot of green and I don’t think there’s much to see there. Maybe pigeons.
I did purchased a retirement house in the mountains of Cali-Colombia and is just the best place for birds . So many type and difference kinds of birds , as soon a retired that is my hobby bird watch. Thanks for u tips .
Informative and interesting video. Thank you for posting! 👍
Wonderfull video! Very interesting ! Thanks for sharing this!
Great video!
I am in a similar situation, having been interested in birds all my life but never really focused on writing down what I saw even though I would go ID a lot of things – so I was able to dig through photos and add Surf Scoter from Alaska, Blue and Gold Macaw from Florida and Laughing Gull from the bahamas, plus a Townsend’s Warbler from my yard last Oct, but tough luck for all the other birds from those places plus mexico and canada and I have no idea when I’ll get to go back! Everyone who even marginally enjoys bird viewing and identifying should consider recording their sightings for sure
Wish eBird would put pic by the name of the bird. ( Visual learner)
I enjoy watching your videos. Thank you for sharing your experience 😊
Wow! I was looking for a channel about birding and wildlife photography for so long. This the is perfect place. Love your works.
what to do if you’re the first in your area

I like your channel. Good tips for beginer birder like me…. a new friend from Indonesia.
2:46. I’ve been in that situation myself. Went to South Africa on holiday, saw a good few birds that I’m only now trying to ID. I have only started to get into birdwatching in the last year, I probably missed so many amazing birds
This is great my friend. I like it.
A literal decided 10 minutes ago that I wanted to get into bird watching. Figured it would be good for not just me but my 5 year old. He loves all the birds that hang around our house.
great videos
I feel I’m learning a lot now, but am humbled by other birders’ knowledge. Thanks for the tips!
I liked the life list tip. I’ll start right away. 😀 It doesn’t hurt that I’m really into lists and organising data & statistics. 🤓
I love your nerdy enthusiasm for birding! new birder here.. helpful info. thank you!
Im not saying youre tips arent good but i have only a binocular and no other cool stuff and i seen eagles, vultures, owls.(i take it as a hobby)
Great video!
You just need to come to india 🇮🇳 , We have some of the best Birding locations out here !
This video is very good I am also Birder and I am from India
Great tips! I will definitely use them.
great ideas
Thank you for another great video. I particularly liked the tip about learning the birds through social media. It’s a really accessible way. I grow up with my dad being right into the native Australian birds, so I cannot remember a time where I did not know many of the species. I had no idea of just how daunting that it can be to start to learn the birds, until I went to USA for a holiday and had no idea about the birds that I was seeing, let alone their life stiles. Thinking of this experience I can see just how useful the tips you talk about would be.
For those that are visiting our camping ground we have printed pictorial list that we give to any of our guest who are interested. To date there are over 100 Australian bird species on on our Grampians Paradise list, of which there are around 55 pictured (all taken by me and my dad over the last 20 years). Very inquisitive mind, you make a great coach!
“Follow Thomas” has a nice channel
love from kolkata,india
What is the bird at 1.48?
"Go out with as many as different birders possible"… 😭😭😭
As a new south east michigan resident, don’t even know anyone to go out on birding with.
Wish I was in my childhood when making friends was easy as just going out and hangout with other kids 😭😭
Great advice
A tip-in the 1st 10 seconds make sure you mention the full name of your channel!
Im tired of myself for having too many interessts and hobbies, painting, music, the gym, but as a kid i used to love nature and birds and i want to get out of the house and in nature more. I feel like i want to go birding but i feel overwhelmed
