On the way down you will catch a final sweeping view of Malibu Lake from above.

STEP by STEP DIRECTIONS: 🚗 From Los Angeles (Downtown, Westside, or Valley)
Approx. Drive Time: 60–90 minutes (depending on traffic)
*Take the 101 Freeway (Ventura Fwy) heading north or west, depending on your location.
*Exit at Kanan Road in Agoura Hills.
*Turn left onto Kanan Road, and follow it south for about 7.5 miles.
(You’ll go through two tunnels as you wind through the mountains.)
*Turn right onto Mulholland Highway and continue for about 1.5 miles.
*Turn left onto Little Sycamore Canyon Road, which becomes Yerba Buena Road.
(This road is narrow and winding — drive carefully.)
*Continue on Yerba Buena Road for approximately 6.5 miles.
*Look for a small parking lot on the right-hand side, labeled “Mishe Mokwa Trailhead”.
