There are several fun ways you can work with your child on his or her fine motor skills and gross motor skills. In this video, Physical therapist Kendra VanWasshenova from U-M’s Milestones pediatric rehabilitation program shows us a few activities you can do with materials you probably already have at home.

Thank you for sharing. I just retired from teaching 25 years in early childhood. I am presently working on my Master’s in Early Childhood at GCU. Age is just a number. These exercises are good for adults at well. Working on balance and hands, plus keeping the brain going. I needed some simple activities for my classroom assignment and I will borrow yours. I did have a balance board in my first classroom ages ago. Ms Mary
