Wildflower Hike in the Columbia River Gorge | Coyote Wall Trail

Hike to see the beautiful #wildflowers on the Coyote Wall Trail located on the #washingtonstate side of the Columbia River Gorge.

This hike is a perfect day trip just over an hour drive from Portland, Oregon. On this trail you will find spring wildflowers such as golden balsomroot and deep purple lupine. We visited in mid May right before peak bloom.

📍White Salmon, Washington, Columbia River Gorge
🥾 6 to 8 miles long, best time of year to hike this trail is May to June
⛰️ 1,500 feet of elevation gain
🦮 Dog friendly trail, must be on leash

    The bridge toll is now $3.50 each way. Sugarpine has soft serve not Ice cream.

    Thanks for sharing! One of our favorite wildflower hikes in the Gorge as well 🙂. We went in April, so it’s fun to see what it looks like later in the season. It wasn’t hot out when we did it, but halfway through, it started sleeting!

    The wildflowers were stunning in this hike 🌼 The Columbia River Gorge is one of our favorite areas to hike near Portland, Oregon.
