I watched all your videos, my question is you have to make a detail video gor food you prepare which ready to eat after just adding hot boiling water.
It will be helpful if you create a dedicated video on this topic.
Love from Pakistan ❤

Love your content, guys! Keep it up!
these long form videos are awesome!!! y’all are my new comfort youtubers (and current obsession) 😀 hugs from texas!
I wonder if water bladders are hygienic on the trail. I will go hiking in 6 weeks and I tested the water bladder on a test hike. I changed the water every day but after some days it tastes not that good anymore. And after the trip I had really bad stomach issues. The instructions say that you can clean the water bladder by taking a mix of water and vinegar trough it and the tube. But this is only possible at home. Has anyone experience or tips how to keep the water bladder hygienic on the way?
Or should I stick to the classic water bottle instead?
Keep it up but lose the sunglasses for the intro. <3
Could you show how to carry a backpack the correct way? Soooo many people wear it too low and their backs will start hurting after a short while. A lot of kids wear it the wrong way too.
Long form daily routine on a long hike
Just getting into backpacking and did a “test run” on the Camino while borrowing a pack. I learned what I don’t want, and your video is super helpful to know what to look for in my own pack! Thank you!
Long YouTube videos should be a thing now!!! Should talk about a more in depth video of the things yall did tiktoks on!
Long form
Unpacking and putting up tent/bed
Night time and morning time routines
Making meals- from getting them out of the bag to packing up
Bedtime routne.
You guys are aresome 😊
Thanks for this great tutorial – it’s so helpful to have people with real experience sharing the pros and cons.
Listening to your podcast on 10 adventures so fun to listen. I heard you did a lot of hiking in Germany. That’s where I’m living now and looking for a great trail for a 5-6 day adventure I can bring my teen girls on- any recommendations where we can hit hotels each night? We’re not quite ready to stealth camp 😂😂😂
Great content, hope more to come
I would love a similar type video but abour shoes! Thank you for this ❤
Curious about Renee’s wraparound sunglasses. What’s the brand?
I think out of all my packs my old southafrican backpacker backpack is by far the most durable but is in no way a light pack. It’s my base camp. Fully loaded it can easily top 125lbs-150lbs. so not something I would use on a through hike. I have not been able to find the specs online it’s similar to the eliphant pack but has 4 additional large pockets. My guess is it’s about 150 litter pack. That being said I may take it on the superior hiking trail and glamp for 300 miles.
This is such useful information that most people would not think of I most certainly would have not thought of that maybe to me you would be really great if one of those companies could ask you to help design one I think that would be great
Fantastic video! Thanks for sharing such practical and thoughtful tips, I appreciate both your intelligence and practical experience, and you speak well 😊!
I was looking forward to your gear opinions! More long form content ❤
Well my Nike backpack with a broken zipper from college might make it 100 miles 😂
Great content guys! Thank you both for sharing. Can I please ask, what Hoka shoes Tim uses for thru hiking? Thanks, from New Zealand 👍
For the folks in Europe – look up Blindbananabags. Amazing customizable handsewn Ultralight packs 🙂
PLEASE make more of these videos. Longer if possible lol
Hello Renee please share the weight of your pack when walking 10 hours a day?? Finding my knees are uncomfortable. Also U do look like your so thin so this would allow U to carry extra. Please share your weight if okay . Dropping 5 kilos to help the knees. Guessing U are 49 kilos. Just starting and learning body weight does hinder progress
This was so helpful!! Other rec videos and even going into REI make it seem like osprey is the only brand. Not saying it’s bad! I do love the spotlight on USA made packs too!
So incredibly helpful. Watched so many videos that all sounded like sponsorships. This was great!
Have the Mystery Ranch Bridger 65, Nature Hike Rock 60, and now, happily, the REI Flash 55👍
This is great, thanks for taking us along!
Love the longer videos! I would love seeing a more detailed breakdown of all your preferred gear, pack list, etc.
I wish yall had cellular, cuz that would be so cool to see yall live stream your whole next trip loo
This is such useful information that most people would not think of I most certainly would have not thought of that
Thanks For sharing your expertise. Very helpful examples
More stuff to break! ❤
What happened with Gavin?! Also can you do a full what’s in my pack video?
I like taking walks in the wilderness. I live in central Florida. Surrounded by marshlands. It’s called Grand Island. Lots of conservation areas to see. I recall walking thru the area around the corner from my home and almost losing my mind. I heard a loud low growl while walking. Gator. I got out of there as fast as possible without running lol I love your channel. I don’t care for camping overnight in any forest bc I watch too much Discovery Plus…These Woods Are Haunted got to me lol Have you ever experienced strange things while hiking thru?
Consider the outer dimensions of your pack too so it fits into the sizing bin of the dominant airline of your home airport.
The difference between paying for your bag or a "free personal item" instead (or free/cheapish carry on) can be another day or two on the trail easily.
Don’t forget that since you already carry sleeping equipment sleeping in an airport for that 6 am departure or 1 am arrival is totally legit and saves a night in a hotel or two.
Sometimes (!) it’s even possible to hike to the airport 😉
How to pick a backpack: buy a ULA. Done. ❤
loving the longer form content guys! i love you guts videos!
Thank you for this. There’s a lot of good information.
Can you go over the different layers you like to use for different seasons. Thanks
So glad you guys are putting out some long form content! The shorts are brillant but I love watching longer videos with details like this.
please provide Indonesian voice or Indonesian translation only 🙏🙏
Like #500. Nice🎉
AMAZING VIDEO!!!
Talking about packs brought back some memories.
On my first trip had a WW2 pack, was horrible lol. Saved my money and bought a camp trails catskill, its still one of my favorites as its very comfortable even though its heavy.
Is amazing how much gear you acquire over time, have the lightweight stuff and one thats made for hunting and carrying out a deer, that thing can haul 150lbs "don’t recommend it".
Yes im old
I love how in the unnecessary features part they just describe my current pack I just got for my first voyage 😅
Some of the ultralight gear can fail as well simply because they are made of frail materials. I decided to buy the regular Durston X-MID 1 solid instead of the pro for that reason, even tho I do marathons a day ;-D
Less is better is only true to an extent for me. While a 7 pound bagpack is outrageously heavy for a bagpack, I could never wear an ultralight bagpack. Having the raw liner against my back is a sensory nightmare for me personally and will make me miserable on the trail. I also just love pockets to organize things. Sure, they could break, but that hasn’t happened to me once. If I had the choice for a lightweight waterproof material in all my other constraints I would 100% do so. My bagpack of choice right now is 45l and 4 pounds. Idk if I’d take that on a 7 day stretch, but it’s been serving me well for up to 5 days so far.
I actually like theor advice of getting a bagpack that fits you and your needs and that might not be the lightest option.
I never thought about the weight limit of a pack
Nothing beats trying the backpack and walking a few steps.
I did the research, watched the videos, pored over the fact sheets, thought I knew what I wanted, ordered online and sent it straight back.
Went to physical store, tried a few (but only a few, not all) walked around and – so much easier to fit the backpack that is comfortable to carry.
Otoh, without the prior research I’d still have been overwhelmed in the store and not known what I wanted…so doing research is fine but nothing beats trying it out in person.
