Tent Camping vs RV Camping: Weighing Their Pros and Cons (Which One Should You Buy?). Welcome to our video of Tent camping Vs. RV camping.
The main difference between Tent and RV camping is that with RV camping you get to sleep in a tiny home whereas in tent camping you get to sleep outside and under a temporary shed.
The recreational van’s RVs are mini living quarters and are mostly equipped with beds one or more depending on the size of the RV; they also have seats, a small kitchen with appliances, a bathroom, and an entertainment system among other features.
Camping tents on the other hand, come in different sizes, we have those that can be used by many people and also those designed for use by a single person. Camping tents require to be set up with the aluminum poles and pegs. They are usually made of leak-proof material to protect the user from extreme weather and they are also characteristic of compartments that function as storage spaces. Camping tents are customizable and can be set up to resonate with the various climatic changes.
I would say that rv camping is better and easier. But the reason I ended up tent camping is that Rv’s are too expensive, high maintenance, you need to insure them and register them with the rmv. You need a place to store them if you don’t have space at home. You have to be mindful of rodents making them their home. If I were to camp a lot, perhaps travel south for the winter, an Rv would be ideal but since I do it perhaps a grand total of two weeks a year, adding up the occasional weekend trips here and there, the expense of an RV for me, isn’t worth it.
I did tent camping a few times, then one time in an RV had me never use a tent again and it has been amazing.
Having a portable camp site is ok though for 1-3 hours in a nice spot or to expand on the RV site area like to set up a pool.
RV camping is way a lot better than tent camping.
