It’s human selfish needs that makes you think you need to cut it down. How about you just move to a slightly different area and leave nature to its own devices. It does not need your help!

Places the devil’s throne in…. a cave in Whiteside Mountain.
Similar legends tell of a Devil’s Courthouse in the Balsam Mountains, though the chamber at Whiteside is considered to be supreme.

I remember going camping with my scouts. One time I sat in my chair next to the fire with my rain gear and poncho. I got warm and fell asleep. I woke up about 3 hours later, fire low, chair wet, and me having had a great nap.
