Solo backpacking in my parts is great, but we don’t have any bears or mountain lions. I think it would be sketchy where you live until I had an encounter with one, LOL, and it was not negative.
I’m an Australian I camp anywhere in the wild I don’t use a tent just a swag and I make my own shelters besides other people I might get a stray cat or dingo maybe the odd snake here and there but otherwise the only thing is the cold and not being able to get proper warmth when it’s cold and wet
I love hiking and backpacking at night. My favorite solo trip ever was hiking Mt Chocorua NH after work on a Friday in November, there’s a cabin about 1/2 mile from the summit and I was going to sleep there. I brought a tent in case it was locked. No moon, pitch black outside my headlamp, windy, and about 15-20F. Hiking down the next morning was under a crystal clear bluebird sky.
Snowshoeing at night is especially awesome, it’s already much quieter because of the snow so you hear everything. One night while out bushwhacking in a snowstorm I kept hearing these soft “poof” sounds around me. “Snow falling off branches, I guess.” Then all of a sudden “poof” 3 feet in front of me where a grouse that had been roosting under the snow exploded out. If you know grouse you’ll understand why I was surprised my underwear stayed clean LOL
Did this in Wyoming. Never again. I found out that a bear is very hard to see at night and like the trails. I was lucky it wasn’t aggressive or with Cubs that I know of.
You rock girl very cool. I solo camp and shoot a racoon stealing my food gets me freaked out lol but ive learned i gotta lock up all food in my car at nite lol
Remember, humans are scarier than any animal or cryptid. With that said some humans are actually cool but beware because that could just be a serial killer in disguise. Just be vigilant is what I’m saying.
❤😂

Dumb
As Cookie Monster says: “That dumb thing to do”.👀🙈🦇🐗
Risky woman, maybe one time you will be be followed into the woods🫣🫢
You need some protection like bear spray or a gun
I don’t know about burritos but if I was a bear I’d love to eat your furry taco.
What about ghosts?
❤
Bear Spray 🐻, Fire Starter 🔥, Pewpew 🔫

hey would it be possible if i can join you in next episodes i want to experience it so bad
Beautiful!
Sometimes this is ok. It’s less risky than walking in urban settings- unless it actually is bear country.
My kind of girl !!!!
glad to know I’m not the only hardcore hiker left that gets My mind set on a goal and does it no matter what.
you smell nice
Cougar will eat u 😨
Do you carry bear spray?
Bro don’t even do this on a trail your unfamiliar it’s not worth it..girls just be safe pls🙏
If you have to do this, use a red light so you don’t lose your night vision!
If something were to happen and your light went out, or you had to run off the path, you wouldn’t be able to see where you were going.
❤
Which this place
Got gun?
I like burritos.
Mmmmm I don’t know about that. That’s not wise. Just saying

Good advice. Get comfortable with being uncomfortable.😊

hiking alone can be dangerous if you get hurt or a get a heart condition, etc, and can’t get help
You are incredibly brave!
Thank you, may you be blessed

It’s time for individual workers to team up with one another and leave the corporate bullsh— behind.

Amazing!! I love nature too!! I’ve been considering spending a night in a cave closeby here. Would be powerful!!
"PTO is limited" I felt that 😂

This day and age must be open season for psychos and serial killers with these strong independant women hiking and camping alone.

Some fear is survival response, and not worth pushing
I’m too scared of the dark. I have no clue about camping either but I’m really interested and want to do it. Where do I start?
