Squirrel meat is very good tasting if you cook it right. Nice white meat.

I’m in Peterborough and would love to meet up with you; I’m a first time hunter and my dad is old, and sadly I have no close friends

Hey man I’ve watched a lot of your videos I’m local in Guelph. You’ve had this issue with steel shot in other videos and I thought I’d just mention I started quite a few years ago hunting small game with steel shot only. Got sick of seeing the lead streaks through my little pieces of meat. I just size up a couple sizes and yeah it costs a little more but I think it’s worth it to keep the lead out of my hard earned meat and you never have to worry about what your shooting at. My two cents hope it helps.

Doves are classed as water fowl? Not in the USA. Woodcock are under the migratory bird act. Special stamp required. ✌🏻😎🇺🇸✌🏻

That was a great day! Thank you, Ryan! 🙂 We did not harvest any meat, but it was a great hike with lots of learning! Really appreciate your character, ethics, and curiosity!

Hi Tree Camps, just realized you don’t have any ear protection when hunting, right? 🙂

I remember the first time I had squirrel it was just shoved on a stick and roasted over the fire and it ended up tough and was like acorn flavored rope 😂 I’m eager to try it again but cooked a little better hopefully!
