Kingfish, Cobia and Snappers – Offshore Fishing in Florida – 4K

Kingfish, Cobia and Snappers – Offshore Fishing in Florida – 4K

I went offshore fishing in Cape Canaveral for Kingfish, Cobia and Red Snappers with Capt. Scott Lum and Corey Pagano from Tackle Crafters. We started the day off netting bait in the Port. Once we filled our live wells, we headed offshore and started fishing for kingfish. After catching half a dozen kings, we moved inshore to a shallow wreck to go fishing for red snappers and cobia.

Bro why are you yanking the rod so hard and trying to reel the fish in so fast. Fishing like that you’re definitely gonna lose some fish, snap your line, or break the rod. Chill out m8. Other than that good vid I guess. Reminds me of when I went to Florida and caught these same fish.

  5. Dr. Clown on September 16, 2019 at 6:30 pm

So degenerate. Fishing should be banned.

  6. Dick Stephenson on September 16, 2019 at 6:33 pm

Protected? Yea, they’re protected for the Chinese fishing vessels.

Can someone tell me what the fish I caught is called

  17. Vincent Serafini on September 16, 2019 at 6:47 pm

Red snapper are only "protected" because the commercial fishing companies pay for that protection so they can basically keep them for themselves. There is no reason for the strict regulations other than the big money in control.

  26. Ron Rust on September 16, 2019 at 6:55 pm

Why didn’t you pop there air pockets so they can go back to the bottom

  27. Mark Solomon on September 16, 2019 at 6:57 pm

Your videos are very inspiring. My experience has been either the party boats off of Canaveral (where I don’t do so well) or flat fishing off of Horseshoe Beach by Cross City (where I primarily catch trout). You make it seem so easy, but I’m guessing that you have some skills regarding working the lure. I have yet to master it. My buddy who owns the boat that we take on the flats always does much better than I do, and I can’t figure it out. I try to emulate his jig action, but I don’t have the success he does. Wish you would show that art of fishing so I could perhaps land fish like that.

  28. Luis Mandon on September 16, 2019 at 6:58 pm

Hey josh, I am new to your videos and just subscribed. I was wondering what pound test do you guys normally use out there? And if I was bank or dock fishing while in FL, what would you recommend

  36. Gregory Gilbert on September 16, 2019 at 7:09 pm

Why did you let the snapper go?

  37. Daniel Newhouse on September 16, 2019 at 7:10 pm

Red snapper are a little small on the edible fish scale. Most edible fish are either sailfish, big shellfish, or grouper.

  50. PN H on September 16, 2019 at 7:23 pm

The fish deserve the respect of being placed back in the water gently when possible, not deliberately belly flopped.
