Improving your child's fine motor and gross motor skills

There are several fun ways you can work with your child on his or her fine motor skills and gross motor skills. In this video, Physical therapist Kendra VanWasshenova from U-M’s Milestones pediatric rehabilitation program shows us a few activities you can do with materials you probably already have at home.

    Thank you for sharing. I just retired from teaching 25 years in early childhood. I am presently working on my Master’s in Early Childhood at GCU. Age is just a number. These exercises are good for adults at well. Working on balance and hands, plus keeping the brain going. I needed some simple activities for my classroom assignment and I will borrow yours. I did have a balance board in my first classroom ages ago. Ms Mary
