Great job with this video. Best info, great stats. I learned a lot and hope I can save more fish with your hints/suggestions. I’ll employ everything you taught me.
I’m here because I caught 3 trout and when I tried to release them they all died ๐
Great video, started to fish again recently and have accidentally killed a couple trout but these tips will help me save more fish
30-60 seconds ?!?! People blow my mind.
Great video I really appreciate people like you who are willing to educate to help protect the natural resources
Really helpful!!!
That was super informative and very well made. Thank you!
Nice video man! Good PSA!
Cool intro. Great information. Thanks for sharing.๐
Mistakes have been made…
I have eaten almost everything I caught. ๐
Great tips!! I’ll definitely use some of these for now on!๐๐
This was very helpful and informative thank you!
Thanks for this. I’m a beginner who hasn’t caught anything yet but I’ll be going to the store to buy a net before my next outing.
I release Trout right into the frying pan.
What a good idea do not kill them. Thoughs from Bourgogne in France
Great footage and awesome video, tight lines and greetings from New Zealand.
Awesome video. Thank you for sharing those amazing tips.
What about when they swallow the hook? I accidentally killed 2 yesterday both rainbows were about 4 pounds. I just want to catch and release
This is some good info!!
Great advice and thank you for making this video. One of the most frustrating things seen in fishing videos is fishermen obsessing over a fish and holding it for far too long. This includes fishermen who think they’re doing the fish a favor by continuing to hold them in their hand, in the water, as the fish is struggling to swim away from their grip. Seriously, what is their obsession. Get over it, clown! Typically these are the same idiots who can’t help but call every fish they catch, "beautiful." The fish all look the same. Let it go!
Nice ๐
Super quick subscribe๐
So I have a curious question if a person were to catch a trout and release it back and it accidentally dies will the said person be in trouble or would it just be out of a person’s control?
Hi, fishing newbie here. When you said โKeepโ the fish do you mean in a tank, or to eat?
Any net thatโs not a rubber net will remove the slime coat from any species of fish doesnโt matter trout or not have a rubber net also wet your hands on any fish below the mature age as fish learn to regrow their slime coat during the spawn
I use barbless when i’m not planning to take home fish to eat,and use regular hooks when i will not release them anyway. And also it depends the water i’m fishing on(what they allow for fishermen to use)
More people need to see this… lol
Like 1 great Video fishing. Lg von Luca B und Luca S und Milan die Angler.๐ฃ ๐.petri๐the trout.
i mashed down all of my barbs at the beginning of summer and it has had no affect on the number of fish I catch. I was surprised…and now releases are way faster and much less damaging
Yes! This is a very good explanation of how to handle trout. Thanks for sharing this.
The high 60s is not too warm to fish for rainbow trout, but it can be for brookies. I have no idea how you made your conclusion, but I’d move it up about 8 degrees F for surface water measurements.
A humane and scientifically informed fisherman, refreshing, thanks for the info man! I’m a newbie so this is great!
Do the fish a favor and just dont do this silly sport.

Thank you! I have been trying to figure out what the best thing to do is when the fish swallows the hook.
I do have a quick question for you though. If there is blood when the fish swallows the hook does that mean it’s better off to keep the fish or will it still survive by just cutting the line? Does it depend on how much blood you’re seeing ?
Thanks for the knowledgeable info. And you got some nice editing skills!
