Most of these bit are to cater for the festival crowd, Im guessing. I’ve used very similar for just that purpose

Hi, another good video. I was wondering if you could extend this to different hot tents. I already have a wood stove and was looking to start camping with my son who is interested and was curious to see what budget tents are out there. As for people trying to scam you. Sadly the world we live in. As I think someone else said put a disclaimer at the start of the video.

Screw the haters mate your trying to show ppl what they could start with and if it works or not you should of tested the tents but set up your bivvy inside etc so you can test if they do leak or not and still be comfy and keep your gear safe

I think an interesting video would be to see, how much it would cost you, to get, all top class 2nd hand equipment, on eBay.

  13. @kokopelau6954 on February 3, 2025 at 10:20 pm

If you put a tarp over it, it will never leak.

  14. @shuggiemcg1 on February 3, 2025 at 10:24 pm

  15. @youngned497 on February 3, 2025 at 10:24 pm

I’ve paused at 17:59 to say my guess condensation will be a bigger issue than leaks …

  20. @RaoulDuke333 on February 3, 2025 at 10:34 pm

What about a tarp over the tent

  21. @logothaironsides2942 on February 3, 2025 at 10:35 pm

Interesting. Kind of what we did when we first started camping., Its possible to go lower by using a yoga mat for the bed. Nowhere near as cosy as the blow up but defo cheaper. Also a cheap bag can always have a blanket added that you just have at home already. We didnt bother with pillows and just used rolled up jumpers.

  22. @mrwareing4368 on February 3, 2025 at 10:36 pm

good video 🙂 you should take a look at the Highlander Blackthorn XL amazing tent for the price

  23. @shaunoneill7650 on February 3, 2025 at 10:39 pm

You could always throw a tarp over the top of the tent to give it a bit more "water resistance"!

  24. @andrewdavis9223 on February 3, 2025 at 10:40 pm

I don’t think it will leak bargain 😊

  25. @DroneHDTV on February 3, 2025 at 10:41 pm

Oh man I did it on a budget – didnt check the weather and I filmed it haha 6 years ago. Only thing that saved me was red wine https://youtu.be/A8rpl2bJNlE?t=140

  26. @Xtariz on February 3, 2025 at 10:44 pm

  27. @manicoptio9305 on February 3, 2025 at 10:45 pm

Brought the same tent (but from Sports direct) perfect for the beach. A place for my toddler grandkids to nap and keep clean all their spare clothes and changing stuff. Can you tell us the hydro rating as I couldn’t seen it. 8000???

  28. @msteen1314 on February 3, 2025 at 10:45 pm

    My guess it will leak

  32. @flogsometogs4539 on February 3, 2025 at 10:48 pm

    Leak

  33. @daisyb5646 on February 3, 2025 at 10:49 pm

It will leak for sure 😂

  34. @ЄвгенЛісунов on February 3, 2025 at 10:54 pm

Yes. This tent is from the “it can’t get worse” series and is only suitable as a donor of parts if you buy it on sale or in stock. I bought this one and exactly for these purposes. Fiberglass poles will be used as spare poles for the main tent (they are fully compatible and separately cost more than this tent in stock). I made different covers for equipment from the material. The anti-mosquito net turned into a mosquito net for fishing. Everything came in handy. I myself have also been traveling by bicycle for many years. Have a good trip and make profitable purchases

  35. @richbird6171 on February 3, 2025 at 10:54 pm

A mat is cheaper than the blow up air bed, put it underneath the tent to protect the ground sheet. Eat out of the mess tin..

  36. @cellandg4524 on February 3, 2025 at 10:57 pm

    It will leak

  37. @SuperDenise_moogle1 on February 3, 2025 at 10:58 pm

These tents are good for the back garden for the kids and festivals. The best things to do with it, is to put play sand in it, it protects your kids from the sun and stops cats fouling it in.

  38. @MalcolmMcNeill-kk2cq on February 3, 2025 at 11:01 pm

    Great advice thankyou

  39. @rowencumiskey on February 3, 2025 at 11:02 pm

LEAK probably near the door 😮

  43. @JMD-er5jq on February 3, 2025 at 11:07 pm

no-one in their right minds would think that that tent wouldn’t leak if it rained, still buy it then whine when they got wet

  44. @edkerridge71 on February 3, 2025 at 11:08 pm

Oh boy it sure does get expensive once you start.

  45. @oldcrackadated on February 3, 2025 at 11:09 pm

Think the tent will leak on zipper on door

  46. @heatherl9417 on February 3, 2025 at 11:09 pm

The tent maybe is a festival tent… few nights and then left in a field ! . For £15 it’s not exactly a Everest situation. Cheap & cheerful , affordable for the ppls 🙂 .

  47. @sebastiansmith41 on February 3, 2025 at 11:10 pm

I have paused the video, it will leak.

  48. @gareth3857 on February 3, 2025 at 11:11 pm
