Gun Safety Tips While Hunting | Gun Talk

There are four important gun safety rules to follow as a gun owner. Gun Talk’s Ryan Gresham demonstrates some different ways to follow the safety rules while out in the field and hunting with a rifle or shotgun, including the “Laser Rule” to help you visualize using Ruger’s American Rifle.
The four rules of gun safety:
1. Treat all guns as if they are loaded.
2. Never point the muzzle at anything you aren’t willing to destroy.
3. Keep your finger off the trigger until you’re ready to shoot.
4. Be aware of your target and what is behind it.

Yes! I just took a gun safety course a few days ago, & they worded it exactly like that; Don’t point your gun at anything you don’t want to destroy. 😎👍💯🎯

It is just common sense really but these days common sense hardly exists because there are amazingly stupid people out there!

If you ever want to see what NOT to do with a gun, watch old Charlie’s angels reruns. I loved that show but it was so ridiculous especially when it came to what they did with guns every episode.
