I just got back from grand tetons and yellowstone. Last week in October. Grand Tetons were amazing. My favorite spot was String and Leigh lakes. Jenny lake up to inspiration point was awesome too.

I love watching this. I live just south of Jackson. And go to Yellowstone/Teton about 3 times a month just to visit the mountains and hike, fish

Great video, but the T.A. Moulton barn is the iconic barn of Grand Teton and the most photographed barn in America.

What a great job on this video! :The videography, your narration and even the music! Excellent. Thanks.

Fly into Idaho Falls, 90 miles from Jackson.

Drove from Seattle to Yellowstone then Grand Teton; 9-day trip; overnighted in Gardiner, West Yellowstone, and Jackson Hole – could have invested 3 weeks!
End of May into 2nd week of June 2023. It was beyond beautiful!
Thank you, Dan, for posting your video and your commentary!
Very informative, and brought back very good memories! You added a number of places to hit next time we go! It was great! Got rain, snow and clear sunny skies.
People after us this June had a few roads closed by snow.
    Thank you, Dan!

Just like other people are saying….. This video is totally underrated! I’m going to Grand Teton at the end of this month and I’ve been doing so many researches including watching tons of videos, but NO VIDEOS and INFO is better than this video. This video is so well- explained and organized! What a huge help!!!! Thank you so much for making this video and share with us! Really appreciate it !!!!!!!!

Great video! Your camera work is amazing. But I’m pretty the mountain in front of the Grand is just a lower peak of the Grand and Disappointment Peak is the peak off to the left.

  14. @chiupipi on July 19, 2025 at 12:38 pm

I prefer to watch Grizzlies about 2 feet away … from my laptop monitor hahaha. When I visited Yellowstone and Grand Teton in 2015, I saw almost every animals shown in this videos except bear and beaver. However, I did see otter, wolf pack, big horn sheep and mountain goat :). Truly amazing place.

  15. @seoulman2743 on July 19, 2025 at 12:40 pm

very well done. nice job….no need to be a narcissist and hog the camera. let the park take center stage.

  16. @charley8380 on July 19, 2025 at 12:40 pm

This is a top class video. I’ve watched lots of similar videos and this might be the best. The map view is an amazing touch. You’re now my go-to to check for vids like this when planning trips! Hope you keep it up!

Excellent video. I spent June and July 2017 in Teton fly fishing. I was staying in Wilson, about a mile past the ski resort, so every day I would drive into the park to fish the Snake River coming out of the Jackson Lake dam, and it was fascinating just how the light could change the views. The best restaurant in the park was at Signal Mountain Lodge. I did have lunch one day on the veranda at Jackson Lake Lodge, talk about a million-dollar view. I chuckled when you were talking about the cost of accommodations because in 2017 I was able to rent a condo for $65/night. A couple of years before I had done a Princess cruise tour to the interior of Alaska (Denali NP), and while beautiful, I thought Jackson, Teton, and Yellowstone were not only a better value but visually more compelling due to the close proximity of everything.

  18. @anthonyharmon9265 on July 19, 2025 at 12:41 pm

Grizzly killed due to humans, hope those living in bear country are happy.

  19. @tonyward3161 on July 19, 2025 at 12:43 pm

    Awesome!
We just went and traveled the park today, Thanks for sharing the video, 👍

  20. @robertleinbach6016 on July 19, 2025 at 12:48 pm

Speaking of accommodations in the park: Colter Bay was omitted, only mentioned as a campground. The cabins are the best bargain in the park!

  21. @kare4dis467 on July 19, 2025 at 12:49 pm

Would you recommend the delta lake hike for someone who has never been that high in elevation before? Or even tackled that serious of a hike? Lol

  27. @CJspitz on July 19, 2025 at 12:58 pm

Going back there in almost 6 yrs next weekend! Can’t wait! Hopefully, I could complete two hiking trails including Delta Lake. Read a review saying a group of hikers turned back due to the bear activity.

There is also a small regional airport in Cody, WY that’s accessible to the Tetons as long as the East Entrance is open.

You’re a totally immature and irresponsible to advocate drug and alcohol usage on a public video or anywhere else for that matter, seeing as these addictive dangerous mind-altering substances have destroyed more relationships, contributed to more sexual assaults, incarcerated more fools, and injured and killed more people throughout time than all wars combined.

  34. @JimPetykowski on July 19, 2025 at 1:05 pm

This is why I don’t watch a lot of broadcast TV. YouTube content creators make much better videos. Keep up the fantastic work.

  39. @martinjdesmond on July 19, 2025 at 1:12 pm

Great video. I concur with your observation about wildfire smoke impacting views of the mountains. As a general rule, our family avoids going to national parks in the west from late July to early September. The likelihood of wildfire smoke in the western national parks is – unfortunately – very high.

I heard you say that people are free to hike around Jenny Lake, but does one need a permit for the Delta Lake and Cascade Canyon day hikes?

  43. @Beetlereal on July 19, 2025 at 1:15 pm
