Fun Crafts to Do When You're Camping!

Fun Crafts to Do When You're Camping!

In this video, I show you the crafts we did on a recent tiny-house camping trip. We only brought a few things with us on our trip, but we were able to make some cool things while we enjoyed nature. The woodcarving craft is well suited for spending time in the woods, especially around a camp fire! It was so cozy! Watercolors are great on vacation because they are so portable and you can use them inside or outside, even out hiking! The watercoloring also kept us busy inside when it suddenly started to rain! I like to be prepared with some activities because I do not like to sit around. I like to keep busy. I already collected some more wood to make more of these little wooden birds. I miss wood carving! Make sure you use your carving tools safely! Happy Camping!

Okay, this is probably yukky, but when I was a kid, I tried “painting” with mud and rubbing moss on paper to make green smudges. The moss stuff is probably not environmentally recommended, and I used twigs for brushes (even shredded an end to make “bristles”), not my real ones. It was fun even if the resulting artwork was a bit crude. But thank you for this lovely video, right in time for Earth Day week!

That looked so heavenly. Goodness, I do miss camping and nature. I whittled years back and found it so relaxing. Thank you for sharing!
