Dou you ever get questioned about Bo’s (Beau?) vaccine’s record? Beautiful places. You always have great advice and info. Thank you!🙌
Last March we stayed in the Everglades for a few days and then went to Big Pine Key Fishing Lodge. LOVED it!
Isn’t the new resort in Summerfield fantastic?! A tip for Thousand Trails members with Trails Collection: There are many Encore resorts in Florida. You can stay practically the whole winter season down here at Thousand Trails/Encore parks but you must plan ahead (as in, as far ahead as your membership will allow). There are two resorts in the Keys which have a $20/night surcharge but Fiesta Key is the best resort we’ve ever stayed at (and we’ve been RV’ing since 1995!) and the other is super as well! The Thousand Trails resort near Disneyworld is good too, especially if you are doing the area theme parks. Disney’s own RV park is pricey but really good with its own entertainment.
Loved the night time show you shared. We have enjoyed Fort De Soto Campground near St. Petersburg area. We have also enjoyed Curry Hammock State Park near Mile Marker 55 in Marathon Key. This past April, we stayed for a month at SunShine Key RV Park at the end of 7 Mile Bridge in the Florida Keys. It was nice. We Prefer campgrounds similar to State Parks. Thank you for sharing.
We stayed at Sunkiss back in March so we would be close to our friends who were staying in The Villages. We really liked it there. Loved the paver sites and the pool. They have band’s on Fridays. Tried getting a spot for 2022 and had to go on a waiting list.
Give me a break. I went in January and it was 50 degrees. The weather is not anywhere near consistent and it ‘s a really expensive place. I’m sure the parks charge a lot.
Sweet video gonna do a long trip down to Key West soon
It is always great when you share
Went all over Florida in the late 80’s, I can imagine the changes are many.
There are so many great RV parks and campgrounds. Here are a few that show the diversity of your choices. We’ll have more videos coming showing others soon. Feel free to list your favorites in the comments below. We have written so much about so many RV parks on our RV LifestyleTravel Blog. Here’s a link to them https://rvlifestyle.com/?s=florida
Thanks for the reviews. We plan to winter in Florida in a couple of years once I have retired!!!
I love seeing the possibilities in Florida. It’s a dream of mine to do what you are doing. Do the gators ever go into the parks?
Is it not cheaper to buy a place in a 55+ building?
