I use an old talente ice cream lid and cup for my dogs water. That way I can set it down, unscrew the cap and then seal it back up after he is done drinking.
You know, dogs have a fur coat. They’re typically good to like -15 C with no wind. No need to have a blanket or sleeping bag for the dog… Unless you are hiking in winter in the arctic. Even then, a pack of dogs sleeping together is usually sufficient.
What a handsome good boy. I think you might be my soul mate, solely based on the content of this short. I could have made nearly the exact same video, except my Nico is a 17 lb 2 year old Datsun.
Whenever I go hiking with my dog, I have a harness for him that has two big packs on it and he carries his food and toys and puppy bags and anything, but I always carry the water because it’s so heavy
A lot of dogs like to carry light backpacks to feel like they’re working depending on the breed. You could get him one and have him carry his dog bowls and dog food 😂
Not that it matters, but a Sherpa is not someone who carries things. They are a Tibetan ethnic group, and the name means “people of the east” or “eastern people.” I know you didn’t mean it as a pejorative, but I try pointing out to people that, while the Sherpa do have a history of climbing and carrying things since they have a history of living in high elevations, they are not mutually exclusive, and that a person who carries things for others is NOT CALLED a Sherpa. The correct terminology would be “porter.” Most people have no idea, and don’t use it to be mean or insensitive. Still, it’s good to know. Cheers.
That is so good you don’t put anything heavy on his back. He is 70 years old in human years… I can see he is a very distinguished and stoic gentleman… But he will start having serious back problems and hit problems from it. His walking all those miles is also not good for him at his age. But fish oil help my sister’s dog a lot with his hip problems that started around 11❤ They used to walk and hike for miles.
I make my husky carry her own gear, plus her, older, little brother’s, who’s the toughest little chihuahua mix I have ever seen. But size does matter, lol so I make her carry his stuff😂
I use Liberty Mountain dog packs. Large. My husky is 80lbs. She’s a goof ball until she gets her pack on, then she’s all business😂
Awesome
Can’t stand the AI rapid voice overs. I DO NOT LISTEN. I scroll😊 on.

My puppy wears her own pack we keep same stuff in it😊
friend has a like 20kg doggie who has his own backpack, it has mostly the dogs stuff in there. and a gps collar
Do you do anything to prevent his nails from popping the inflatable pad
Im about to do an 850 mile bike trip with a young Blue Heeler. He’s carrying something lol
Bring vet wrap, useful for dogs and humans
Omg he doesn’t even know how blessed he is to get time like that in nature
Your an amazing woman! Lucky dog…

I don’t know anything but could the ‘sweater’ just compress the air out of his fur and make him colder? It looks thinner overall
Sharing tweezers with a dog
Oh that makes me want to be young again.
That Sherpa reference 👌🏻
I’ll be both of your sherpas if you’ll sit on my face every night 🥹😂
Beautiful relationship ❤ Nothing compares to the love and companionship of dog.
I miss you DAISY baby girl ❤
Aww 🥰

Lovely ❤
Dang Sherpa(ing?) sounds like such a vibe
Sleeping with a dog is like sleeping with a kid: They just roll, twist and turn every 5 minutes 😂
Is he calm like that most of the time. My dog can be exhausting
Anyone know what kind of dog

You can’t pack two lightweight hand towels? 🤔
Hi which breed is this ? Thankss
NEW SUB HERE! Loving your content 🥰❤️
"Sherpa" doesn’t mean people who carry bags. It’s a community originally from Tibet.
I prefer having a Sherpa too 😅

My dog used to climb into the sleeping bag with me. Often got a little crowded in there, but it kept us both warmer!
❤️❤❤❤

Opening scenery is gorgeous!
Buy him his own backpack to wear. He should carry his own stuff. That’s unfair.
