Hellol , quick question could i maybe sub the grape seed oil with clarified butter ? thanks
Loving the dog avoidance kitchen yoga, and here I thought I was the only one.😂
It’s really not too hard to confit the whole bird
I want to know the story behind the scorch marks on the butcher block?
I’m really disappointed that we have been subscribed to this channel for a long time, but it has not been showing up on my feed without searching it out specifically..
09:23 the dog🤣
The shiner in the fridge👀😎
I use peanut oil for my confit. Around Thanksgiving they have them for sale in 5 gallon for the turkey fryer peeps.
Good to see Danielle cooking again! Been far too long. Need to see her bourbon cream sauce for elk heart again! Goose legs and grilled cabbage look delicious!
Danielle is underrated.
I use coconut oil, but don’t forget to save your oil for fried potato.
I’m confused on why some stuff is still on this channel and not the new meat eater channel. What was the reason for a new channel again?
I saved snow goose legs and was very pleased with their flavor. The leg meat on a snow goose is like a chicken leg. Tender with a mild flavor.
No seed oil. Its killing us
I’m completely opposite, I remove all fat I can’t eat it. It makes me nauseous.
you might be pregnant
I’m a duck fundamentalist, plucked and baked 😋
I smell a BUN in the oven 😊
Now that is a useful cooking video. Thanks Danielle! I’ve been tossing goose legs and wasting money on expensive duck fat when doing confit. Can’t wait to try this, and to put your cooking book on the Christmas list.
You ruined it with the oil
Cooking on real fire, at a girl!
Looks like Steve’s kitchen
Interesting, grape seed confit. I’ve seen many different oils used for confit, usually butter or animal fat(obviously). I bet it’s still delicious, the only reason the French used animal fat and butter is because that’s all they had.
Can we get some more hunts with steve please
The more of these videos the better. They are great. Thank you.
Love the baby bump.
Wish I could get some goose meat.
South Eastern Texas.
Was giving this a chance until you poured in the motor oil.
Do you ever butter baste those duck breasts?
Eh, you lost me at grapeseed oil. I try to stay away from seed oils for health reasons. Any good substitutes?
How do i get a woman like that???!!!
Awesome !
Young lady cong congrats with the baby, and you have the best dogs, just chillin with all that meat cooking. Awesome job.
The laid back dogs just want to be woken up when it’s time to eat.
By far the best way to make waterfowl !
You guys do a good job with the cooking videos.. Some are very difficult to get through. Not these.
What? I can see goose, but duck is easy as heck to cook!!
Land fund what’s that ?
John 3:16 Context
13And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. 14And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: 15That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. 16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
Oh, hell no. Grape seed, like any of the seed oils, are horrible for you.
LOOKS GREAT , I LIKE MY DUCKS SEARED LIKE THAT TOO !!!!
I haven’t watched in a while(been busy with life) but have been catching up on MeatEater episodes. I did not know that Danielle was pregnant lol. She looks amazing with that glow about her! Wishing you and your family the very best Danielle!
I usually use the legs to do pulled goose. I’ll have to try and confit them.
🇧🇷👍
Well done 👏
My wife wants to know who makes the maternity jeans..
Looking forward to trying this one day!
Thanks for teaching me to cook duck. Gonna have to save this for reference.👍🇨🇱
Dabbling ducks yes 100%. Divers agree, with the exception of canvas backs. Cans are the king for a reason, and my GOODNESS are they DELICIOUS.
Looks great
where do I get that BBQ rub recipe?
