What kind of fuel does that little stove use?
Just bought my first tent and I’m excited to get to camping! This was very helpful!
Every air mattress I’ve had ends up deflating slowly while sleeping on it.
I camp but not a lot but I don’t understand why why coming and going people don’t remember this rule: Pack it in – Pack it out. This is very important as well as equipment.
Hi Chris I’m going solo camping/first time camping in a few weeks in the Sierra Nevadas. It’s a proper campsite but I’m nervous about black bears in the area. I was planning on snacking in my tent, making s’mores, etc. How would one go about storing food and tent snacking?
Nice video
Hi Chris, thank you for this. It’s pushing me to leave Ottawa during weekends.
thank you this is very useful :)!
Depending on your back a air mattress is not for everyone I have a spastic nerve in my back and I have to have a more firm place to sleep without waking up with back pain. So a cot will work better for me but that’s also a higher cost etc
I’m an absolute beginner and haven’t been any camping yet. Yours is the first channel which is source of comprehensive camping knowledge. Rarely anyone covers even how to book a campsite which can be a mystery to a beginner like me. Thank you very much!
I highly recommend if possible always use a air pump if you can. Blowing up that blue sleeping pad by mouth will cause condensation and eventually turn your inside gross and moldy quick.
Thank you so much. I have been thinking of things I wanted to try. Camping is definitely one of those things thank you for posting this video.
Hey Chris, thanks for this. My Aussie Fishing Channel has just started to branch out into some camping too. Thanks for the help. I’ve subscribed and I’ll definitely be coming back for more tips…
what if we cant afford a 1200 dollar tent and 400 for a mattress pad? any tips for people on a budget?
Loved this. I remember the good old days when I had the basics. It’s amazing how much gear one accumulates over the years.
