Thank You Sir.
Great job with these videos Eric! This is definitely one of the best channels on YouTube for backpacking info. Lots of great tips! Keep up the great work.
You have a great channel, love the content and I just subbed. I would love to do a portion of the Arizona trail soon and your information is very helpful.
One of my new go to hiking snacks: Walking Tamales
Many flavors to choose from.
Great job. Thank you.
Would you please repeat your advice about the box that may or may not need milk? Did you say mckenese? Sorry – I’m from the UK. ð
Our family is getting ready for a week-long backpacking trip this summer and we’ve found your videos super helpful, organized, and loaded with great tips/hacks–thanks Eric!! Here’s one food tip for you & your viewers – wrap already made bacon around a date for a quick fiber/protein snack or appetizer. The bacon/date combo was a hit with our family last summer ð Susan
Expensive, prepackaged, freeze-dried foods. I’m not a fan. Talk about "responsible sourcing" all you want, you’re all in on the consumerism train.
I’d rather pack stuff like oats, flour, dried beans & pulses, stock cubes, and forage as I walk. It’s a lot lighter and a lot cheaper.
ðĨ ð§ âĪ , that hug from mom made me laugh so hard
I guess I’m different..ill hike 15 miles to camp then eat. Maybe one cliff bar on the walk.
Wow my freind
What about 30days
Salty meat…salty nuts ðĪŠ
do you cooke the mac and cheese in a jet boil?
Love your buckskin gulch hike. Do you have written details about the itinerary of the exact trail you followed? Perhaps a map on All trails?
These videos are so great Eric, Been a subscriber for just over a year now I think, and these last few informative videos have been so great, especially considering the isolation. Would love to see a video on making your own meals when out backpacking. I know you roughly went over it in a video before, but could be cool to have a Eric Hanson Backpacking Cooking video ahah. Love the videos,Great content, keep it up!!!
Very informative video. Thanks so much ððž
It really sucks but General Mills bought both Epic Jerky and Annie’s Organic foods….. so be mindful of that while choosing your foods
If you like sushi than you know wasabi and soy go together. Wasabi is also good with tuna.
