Sunscreen absolutely! Especially when you hit rhe alpine. The sun’s reflection off of the snow can be pretty gnarly
If I may also suggest downloading “offline maps” within Google maps. Your cell phone can still use it’s gps function outside of cell service areas 😊
Some people carry a pack of water purification tablets in case of filter failure as a back up . Filter becomes too clogged or frozen . Good idea . Great list .

I don’t have the beacon and I mostly glamp but I’ve been lost before, I can’t imagine me putting myself in the pressing the beacon button scenario, stubbornness for sure.
I think I’ve used my water filter more than any of my other hiking essentials. It’s definitely a piece of equipment I will rely one!

Well equipped. They are for minimalist hiker. For me, I will add an umbrella for raining usage.
You might want to pack a 9 millimeter if you’re out there alone.

I carry a folding Silky saw too. I’m a mountain biker, so sometimes I clear the trail, or it helps for making fire too
