Leukotape instead of bandaids to prevent and treat blisters. Wrap around your lighter a few times to save space. I kept the same pieces on my heels for a four day trek
. If it’s an open blister I put a small piece of tissue over the wound first.
Portable charger: Anker 20000 mAh. Headlamp: Amazon Kidecce 2 pack headlamp (these are $25CAD and so bright!) even on a short trip I bring these because the cold kills battery life.
Touchscreen gloves: Baffin Glove Liners – these actually work unlike some I’ve tried
This is part of my How To Stay Warm Winter Camping series. I have a bunch of other tips on my reels page
That wasn’t tissue that was toilet paper
Tissue is key!
yoooo!!! Shoutout to leukotape!!!!
I was a big game guide that climbed mnts and walked many miles aday. Climbing mnts was hard on feet ,a tip I used duct tape, I would put duct tape on different areas of my foot that way I never dealt with blisters. Dont wait for a blisters think ahead
How cold are winters where u live if your fingers wont freeze with those thin ah gloves. i have to use something like skiing gloves if i dont want to freeze my fingers. Here in finland we have like from -10c to -30c
Tip: when hiking on a mountain during winter bring snowshoes. I sure wish I did hiking in Banff!
Head lamps that last a week I doubt it unless you use it super rarely
I have facial qualitybathroom tissue .
I can’t recall every seeing ‘ toilet paper ‘.
That charging cable is hanging on by a thread!
i see u carry a small power bank – a tip for u. Get one that has a Solar panel on it and put it on top of your back pack while hiking. secured of course under netting. Free power ! Good vids.
Sorry, don’t forget Snowshoes
