I’m with you brother ! The older I get ( I’m 61 now ) the harder winter is on me ! I think I would add some sort of sleeping in it then get up before sunrise and eat then hunt ! I wish I had a place to build one like yours !

  10. Gary on September 16, 2019 at 6:40 pm

Kevin, you have built the ultimate blind, and I completely understand the making memories part, great philosophy. All you need is a couple of fold up cots, and a little refrigerator and nobody would ever see me again, live off the land. Very nice video and great blind!!! LIVE YOUR DREAM… 👍👍

  11. Big Daddy on September 16, 2019 at 6:42 pm

When was the last time you shot a buck bigger that a 6 point with that type of hand soap in your blind

….in Alabama, that is a shooting house….. really nice…. For bad weather, really cold and windy days…. I’m there….otherwise I’m stalking, in a ladder stand or a climber. Happy for you sir. I know you’ll enjoy it….

  14. Tyler J on September 16, 2019 at 6:45 pm

0 hunting gets done out of that blind it’s pretty much a elevated man cave

  15. sofive0 on September 16, 2019 at 6:47 pm

That is a super nice blind! How much would you guestimate that you have in it or would it cost someone to build one like it?

  16. INTARGET 13 on September 16, 2019 at 6:48 pm

    That’s sweet

Sorry but a blind to me is a brushed in hide in the brush, fencerow or forest.

  20. caleb on September 16, 2019 at 6:51 pm

You aint a real hunter unless you use a big rock to kill the deer. Lol. Thats how some of yall sound. Let people hunt the way they enjoy.

  21. paslayer on September 16, 2019 at 6:52 pm

That’s as redneck as it gets

  22. Don Mealey's Hunting Channel on September 16, 2019 at 6:52 pm

Bad Ass blind…. I love it

  25. Good Friend on September 16, 2019 at 6:57 pm

I need something like this for sure, would certainly come in handy for anyone who gets cold easily or just wants to be more comfortable while hunting. Thanks for sharing.

  26. John Zimmerman on September 16, 2019 at 6:57 pm

Nice. Have you thought of some noise dampening material on the ceiling? Maybe some carpet strips? Just a thought.

  27. D Jones on September 16, 2019 at 6:58 pm

Add some wifi and a smart tv to watch the game it would be heaven haha

  28. Cory Williams on September 16, 2019 at 6:58 pm

That’s a great set up. Only thing I might add is a wall mounted propane heater. That would definitely take the chill off.

  29. Kent Costello on September 16, 2019 at 6:58 pm

Hay can I come over and hunt ? That’s a Hilton of deer stand good job.

  35. Hunter Brickey on September 16, 2019 at 7:10 pm

Are we hunting or living in a house

  36. The T Coulter on September 16, 2019 at 7:10 pm

Haters gonna hate!! That’s bad ass! Bet they wouldn’t be bitching if you did this for a duck blind 🤔

  37. River Rooney on September 16, 2019 at 7:11 pm

Love your videos, we just posted an awesome hike to Mohawk trails in Breckenridge Colorado where we were woken up by mountain goats! check it out.

  38. Nunya Biznez on September 16, 2019 at 7:14 pm

Awsome huntn blind! To all the wanna be Rambo’s hating on his methods, where in the book of hunting does it say you can’t be comfortable while hunting? Some would say hunting with a rifle or compound bow isnt hunting, using commercially bought equipment to give you an edge is cheating etc… to each his or her own. Every hunt doesn’t have to be a lesson in survival. Can’t wait for next deer season to try this!!! I’m gettn mine built this off season. More power to ya bro, well done!!!

  39. WA Outdoors on September 16, 2019 at 7:16 pm

Not even hunting. Go out in the woods in the wind against a big oak and then you’re hunting

  40. Patrick McDaniel on September 16, 2019 at 7:16 pm

Do you even bother with camo?? I mean my house is out in the middle of nowhere too and I guess I could kill a deer from my bedroom window. I certainly can see deer from inside my house… idk. It’s hard for me to call this hunting with so many luxuries. I imagine you have a great time with the grandkids and that’s great, but if it were me, I would rather teach them how to actually hunt. Anyone can sit in a box or building and shoot a deer, but hunting from the ground is a lot harder. You learn how to move quietly, how to use the shade, what trees cover your scent, how the wind affects your hunt, what the deer forage on in your area, etc… something like this I would probably just fall asleep in. Just as well put a TV in there and watch the football games, but to each his own

  41. william west on September 16, 2019 at 7:17 pm

Nice! I too hunt in a shooting house some. Still get out on public lands but when I’m on private land it’s shooting houses mostly.

  42. dexron on September 16, 2019 at 7:18 pm

That is a deer blind house

  43. RustyCarnahan on September 16, 2019 at 7:18 pm

I’ve got a spot on my land that my brother and I call "the honey hole" that we’ve been kicking around the idea of building a permanent deer stand on. I’ve been scouring YouTube looking for ideas, and I like the way you’ve done yours.

  44. Zombie ZH himer on September 16, 2019 at 7:19 pm

Hunters today crack me up. Hunting from a house. My Dad hunted deer for 60yrs, I’ve been hunting for almost 50yrs. Never once have we even thought about sitting in a tree or building a house to hunt deer. Hell why don’t you just feed them till they come in your house or your porch then knock em in the head. This isn’t deer hunting. Basically sitting in a house an shooting cows in the neighbors pasture.

  45. Tom Kastner on September 16, 2019 at 7:19 pm

I know what you mean about getting cold. I am in Wis and I have a hunting shack with heat in it too. Great job you did on it. Good luck hunting.

  46. Dutchman Outdoors on September 16, 2019 at 7:20 pm

Thank you for this awesome video. It has given me plenty of ideas. I am in the process of building a 6×8 box blind for a small family hunting lot. Originally I just wanted something to keep me dry and out of the elements but now I’m considering putting a small solar electrical system and a small propane heater for the really cold days. I doubt I’ll go as far as running water but a corner toilet isn’t a bad idea 🙂

  47. joe woodchuck on September 16, 2019 at 7:20 pm

    Great place!

  48. Mr Williams on September 16, 2019 at 7:21 pm

  50. Anthony Hall on September 16, 2019 at 7:23 pm

This is awesome but if I was hunting in this I’ll need at least one more person to watch the other side
