I’m new to this channel and I really like the deep explanations. One thing I would want to see is tips on which bait suits the most in every water type that you show

  12. @wildboystv3013 on February 10, 2025 at 10:50 pm

Thanks for the info!!! Just wamt to point out – i think you mean to say "typical" not "atypical" as atypical means abnormal or not normal. But maybe you do mean atypical.

  13. @CallofAldebran on February 10, 2025 at 10:52 pm

    I realized today that I’m a trout

  17. @Rob9H on February 10, 2025 at 11:00 pm

Great video! Just wanted to point out though that "atypical" means not the norm, irregular, out of the ordinary.

  19. @fervantjam5643 on February 10, 2025 at 11:01 pm

I got luck one day while I was out just throwing whatever and caught 2 little rainbows and I’ve become a man obsessed. That said I haven’t caught a single one since and I’ve been coming back to your channel religiously trying to find an edge. Thanks for what you’re doing.

  24. @dang9269 on February 10, 2025 at 11:07 pm

How do you not get snagged in the shallower waters?

"Arian predators" man these fish are pressured enough without the need to hide from Nazi’s. 😉 Much love great videos! You have taught me lots

  29. @ONG-cs7tz on February 10, 2025 at 11:13 pm

Right after watching this video I went fishing in a river nearby, I caught a 22 inch Grey Trout(2 inch away from being legal to keep) and 25 inch pike that I kept. So I can confirm it work 😁

  30. @tomodier1694 on February 10, 2025 at 11:13 pm

As a Colorado angler who both fly and spinner fish I appreciate you guys showing us it’s ok to spin fish in a river. A lot of fly fishermen out here seem very elitist and sometimes it’s fun to throw a spinner rather than a bugger. Love the videos boys

  34. @chasebarnard5750 on February 10, 2025 at 11:17 pm

I would’ve liked to see you make a couple casts to show how you’d work your bait for each style.

  35. @jpl117 on February 10, 2025 at 11:17 pm

Lmao BRO at 7:45 i thought that was a bear behind you 😂

  36. @findinghumorthruitall on February 10, 2025 at 11:19 pm

I’m fishing in the Aliso creek watershed. the fish are really small. I think there may be steelhead trout. I’m trying to find the right bait and setup for small fish . lol I just want to catch something.

edit: I take that back. steelhead trout are almost extinct

    Thanks 🙏

  40. @jirayraghazarian8556 on February 10, 2025 at 11:20 pm

    you explain great thank you

  41. @haroldgardiner1966 on February 10, 2025 at 11:21 pm

I find undercut banks are good, as well as places where the creeks pinch down to very narrow slots, especially when there is tall grass on each side. These places usually are pretty deep and give the fish an easy hunt, because everything just comes naturally within their maps!

  42. @calebholloway1993 on February 10, 2025 at 11:22 pm

I wish you woulda went into more detail on how to fish the styles like what kinda baits and where to cast

  43. @SerpWerx on February 10, 2025 at 11:23 pm

Only 2 minutes in and I already know Im gonna learn a whole lot from this video. Clear concise and to the point, Explaining everything very well. Much appreciated for sharing your knowledge

  44. @brianlinderson2454 on February 10, 2025 at 11:23 pm

I recently caught a couple cutthroat in a creek, one under a log, and the others near the bank where they were hiding. Fun times.

  45. @theghostly7 on February 10, 2025 at 11:24 pm

Where was this video filmed? It looks nice there.

  46. @ThatioGamer1 on February 10, 2025 at 11:24 pm

Thanks for the tutorial! Be nice to see you cast a few times to show us newbies how to fish. We’ll be watching.

  47. @idhatemet00 on February 10, 2025 at 11:26 pm

good pointers , but atypical means not typical was kind of confusing at the beginning. And at 3:44 it’s "i.e" not "a.e"

  48. @austinstults7033 on February 10, 2025 at 11:28 pm

Bro atypical means not typical or irregular lol

  49. @ericunder on February 10, 2025 at 11:28 pm

Great video but you keep saying "atypical" which means, not typical. I think you mean typical.
