Could you do a "most compact" set-up? I prefer a more compact backpack that’s a little heavier vs a lightweight but larger backpack

  2. @zulemadewitz829 on January 27, 2025 at 9:53 pm

    Great job cousin!

  3. @ddff5242 on January 27, 2025 at 9:54 pm

App gear is no more unfortunately. Also, swallow your pride and get a cnoc.

  4. @DavidonEarth on January 27, 2025 at 9:54 pm

The LT5 Trekking Poles… I tested those for Gossamer a few years back. I’ve broken several sections over the years. Instead of buying new poles I just keep replacing the sections I break. I’m bad with poles – lots of rocks in CO and I’m too dumb to slow down when going down hill – so, I break stuff.

  5. @Casual_BackPacking on January 27, 2025 at 9:55 pm

    Widdle some sticks

  6. @cgriggsiv on January 27, 2025 at 10:02 pm

Bryce my man we got to get a hiking together

But there would be nothing really light on my backpack or in for that matter because I would be using the shodma action x70
Just so I can get the main camera and two lenses maybe three in the small insert
Leaving me room on the top half for the camping gear

  7. @KatrinaOutside on January 27, 2025 at 10:05 pm

I also dislike the Nitecore headlamp battery. I think that headlamp is overrated. Sure, you save an ounce, but then you use more of your battery and potentially have to carry a heavier battery, so what’s the point?
My fav is a classic Black Diamond. The Black Diamond Spot 400-r is rechargeable, weighs 2.6oz, and the battery lasts 4 hours on high (400lm) and 8-225 hours on other settings. Can’t be beat.

  8. @CombatBanana on January 27, 2025 at 10:07 pm

EE makes pretty good quilts but Katabatic is soooo much better. And the NU 20 Classic can run for almost 100 hours because it has a 1 lumen mode that is actually very usable for hiking.

  9. @davidcooper8390 on January 27, 2025 at 10:09 pm

Bryce, thank you for sharing your gear. It looks like a really comfy setup for under 25lbs at the TH

  10. @thomasterry5527 on January 27, 2025 at 10:09 pm

In the video, what jacket are you wearing?

  11. @jeffreycarman2185 on January 27, 2025 at 10:10 pm

    Thanks for the video.

  12. @jacobpoucher on January 27, 2025 at 10:10 pm

Nu25 sold out theyre no good. You missed out on the good one. I stocked up on the discontinued ones

  13. @brycewalburn3926 on January 27, 2025 at 10:11 pm

Those pants look great, but there’s no inseam options. This short guy does not approve.

  14. @bartonianoutdoors on January 27, 2025 at 10:16 pm

interesting vid, thanks. many of the nitecore headlamps can be run (not just charged) from an external power bank for extended night hiking (both my v1 and v2 nu25 can do this)

  15. @artallen2860 on January 27, 2025 at 10:16 pm

    Battery brick?

  16. @Casual_BackPacking on January 27, 2025 at 10:19 pm

There is a better light it’s a key chained light 😅

  17. @RobertKenny-t1b on January 27, 2025 at 10:20 pm

  18. @thetommantom on January 27, 2025 at 10:21 pm

I got a phenix flashlight that charges an 18650 tesla vape battery with a magnet on the flashlight and a usb cable lol that’s a real battery and the belt clip on ur hat if you don’t want to hold it

  19. @ellybeann on January 27, 2025 at 10:21 pm

  20. @jacobpoucher on January 27, 2025 at 10:22 pm

dude you still cant get your base weight consistently down to 10lbs is crazy. some people just dont got it.

  21. @wyregrasser7540 on January 27, 2025 at 10:22 pm

Not for everyone, I do carry. Taurus makes a really nice backpacker carry with the G4 micro or G3c 9mm. Under 300 dollars for either. Carry is just never breached on hiker channels. Some may enjoy the info. Thanks for your share. I do like those pants!

  22. @Yugiohmaxxcc on January 27, 2025 at 10:23 pm

I really don’t understand how anyone can use a frameless bag with no suspension, no hipbelt, no matter how much light your gear is.

  23. @Greghikes1 on January 27, 2025 at 10:24 pm

Nice to see you back! A surprisingly light base weight considering all of the extras and a few more budget items. 👍

  24. @jakeva9802 on January 27, 2025 at 10:25 pm

    Glad to see you back

  25. @johneason6540 on January 27, 2025 at 10:25 pm

Hi, I use the nu25, my experience is they somehow discharge when not in use. I make sure I out a full charge before I hike. I have noticed this for 2 years. Certainly cool how lite weight, but, not sure it’s dependable,

  26. @jakejohnson2428 on January 27, 2025 at 10:26 pm

  27. @ChrisCollins001 on January 27, 2025 at 10:29 pm

Thanks for sharing such valuable information! I need some advice: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). What’s the best way to send them to Binance?

  29. @arcana1973 on January 27, 2025 at 10:31 pm

  30. @brianadventures9622 on January 27, 2025 at 10:32 pm

Bryce! Get a CNOC! Stop messing around that scoop and tiny fill spout!

  31. @jannamozdzer4100 on January 27, 2025 at 10:32 pm

    Bro, where have you been?

  32. @tonybabcock655 on January 27, 2025 at 10:36 pm

Lightweight cuz you live the chair life

  33. @KrizAkoni on January 27, 2025 at 10:39 pm

I found my Speedgoat 6s to be a little pointy as well. Just finished ME 100 mile wilderness and another hundred south of there in Lone Peak 8s and they did great. Nice load out!

  34. @donaldgibson3009 on January 27, 2025 at 10:41 pm

Bryce your channel is still my favorite after all these years , I hope you and the Schills might do a trip together again someday. Buckeye boys got to stick together.

  35. @Norcalhighker on January 27, 2025 at 10:41 pm

No camp shoes or power bank? Team crocs for life 😂 Great video and gear. I gotta check out the down booties and aero press at some point.
You bring sugar and powdered creamer or is it good black?

  36. @jacobpoucher on January 27, 2025 at 10:42 pm

Would you mind to share details of those slim rain gloves? I’m looking for some light addition for when I pack the wet, cold tent in the morning.
