those pigs will be born with hair and tusks and the temperament of wild pigs!!
– 30,000 years of domestication goes out the window in just two weeks!!
and one female pregnant pig can turn into 500 pigs in 10 years!!!!
so killing wild pigs is a good thing!!
and their numbers are way more than we want them to be

Bordetown south Texas here, wild pigs are a HUGE problem. I got em at home & at work (nightshift) I see them destroy all the grass these warehouses pay to keep green. Holes all over, and they aren’t scared of a car horn! I found out the only noises that they RUN FOR THE HILLS to is dog barking (yes i was barking at them at 2am sue me)

As a finnish and knowing how we hunt deer which we hunt easily the most (there is moose, bears, wolves, lynxes, all kinda animals tho)(Have seen once a wild lynx, they are so good at hiding). I find the US way of strapping of a chair into a tree and many times just shooting down to your feet to be extremely lazy "hunting" 😂 Like I associate even Some exercise with the word hunting. Either running the animal in a direction you want or at the other end looking for the sweet spot rather than sitting in the tree for hours if something comes by or the wild pigs are ran under you. I’m sorry it just seems so silly to me, yes I still understand wild pigs to be really dangerous.

A lot of Georgia’s farm lands are being destroyed by wild pigs, and ppl who live close to farm lands really have to watch out for them because even the family yard, where their children play, is not safe… It’s encouraged greatly for for hunters to hunt wild pigs. There were no limit as to how many one could kill, idk about now tho…
