I think this is great you do the trail maintenance. Wonderful stuff.
Foresty Forest is the GOAT!
I loved this episode!! Your dinner looks delicious! Rocko cheesecaking was the best! Thanks for cleaning the trail!
I liked the asmr two stroke engine though I didnโt know I liked it before this video. Thank you for all your videos. Theyโre my favorites.
Thanks for doing the trail log-out. Gas powered chain saws are the only way to go.
Tricktip to save your spine – use piece of old static climbing rope/strap and just rotate those small log bits along the trail or drag them away.
Good work Foresty. You and Rocko were rewarded for your efforts with a nice moose antler!
Becoming Legend.
Touches something primal in people by keeping the frontier alive.
Thanks so much, Forestyโฆ.for who you are and all that you do!
Using a chainsaw without proper protective gear is just stupid, especially if you’re out somewhere alone. Not cool man, not cool.
Rocko in a hurry 10:01.
I love Rockco
Love your video ,love your personality! I would date you and your dogs of course.
Double subscribing for the chainsaw ASMR. Finally someone gets me.
The chainsaw not starting when hot is from vapor lock. Usually happens in the spring when they still have "winter blend" gas at the pumps. I see it quite often in the shop. Dump their gas out, fill with fresh and their issues were fixed.
You are a wonderful ambassador for Mother Nature.
I love seeing Rocko riding on the dash with a front row seat!
Sir, you are a highlight! Each and any chance I get to click on a Forest video I take it! You’re the BEST๐ค๐ฑ
The bar on that chainsaw is way too big, 20 inches is all you need
Sleeping in a automobile during a rainstorm is highly underrated. The only thing missing from that scenery was a grizzly bear.
Wow Dude speechless. The world need’s more men like you
Thanks Foresty.
Cool stuff. Would be cool and useful to have a chainsaw. Get er dun
You make beautiful videos . Stay well
You definitely got the right chainsaw, if you bought the Stihl! Ironically, I always laughed at the notion of electric chainsaws. But watching you use one convinced me they have their own particular use case, for quick instant jobs, especially if the machine sits unused for long durations. For anything beyond a few minutes of work, gas quickly becomes the better option. Awesome dedication to maintaining the trails!
Foresty , will be traveling around the world? Soon โค
There is a stihl 3 in 1 sharpener with that you can acheive an edge as good as a new chain foresty
Thank you for your service.
"Rocko flexing his muscles" Nice! Rocko getting buff lol ๐๐๐
If u think there’s a chance of your saw overheating. It’s possible there is a piece of removable plastic located on the partition in between the air filter and engine compartments that can be installed two ways. One way for winter and the other way for summer. Essentially it guides air flow to the air filter from either the engine/hot air for wintertime or from exterior/cool air for summertime. In case you didn’t already know this!๐
*9:39**, what was that cabin?? Can everyone go in it???*
Rocko can sanitize anything with one good kick. โค๏ธ
What’s a great attitude and job. Thanks for caring for the future of your sport
Is it just me or is Rocko super muscular for a dog
These trail maintenance videos make me want to buy a chainsaw and go clear trails too. You’re a good citizen, dude.
your little pooch always makes me smile…
Dude, you do a lot of hiking from what I can tell and spend a lot of time in the woods arenโt you afraid of the bears and do you carry bear spray and if so thereโs a safety device on there so you canโt spray yet do you have yours left on or is it taken off in case you need it thank you. Keep up the good work.
Did you make a video when you first got the chainsaw??? I looked back and couldn’t find one. Get the still 2in1 sharpener it is about $60 CAD from Stihl. It is the best tool for sharpening and so quick and simple!!! It files down your depth gage and sharpens your cutting tooth at the same time (hens 2in1) setting your cutting tooth at the optimal cutting height. It can make a really dull chain cut like a brand new one! Also use your chain brake more. After ever cut you should put it on the instant you finished your cut. You don’t want to bleed out in the middle of the forest.
Where did you get that colorful poster!?
There will be many that will appreciate your trail maintenance wonderful work Foresty
This channel is cutting up content ๐ฅ โ๏ธ ๐
Great video. I would cut a small piece of moose antler for Rocko if you come across again i am sure he would love you even more.๐๐
I wonder how many others would have commitment to pack in a chain saw to clear a trail? Others would only complain about the shape of the trail, and expect someone else to do something about it. I respect you for that. GOOD MAN!! Mike from Mass.
โค
She is one good looking pup.
ASMR chainsaw heaven! So much nicer to listen to from home with volume control. ๐
Hey foresty! Long time follower here. Big fan of the channel! 1 year old video post, so I’m not sure if this comment will even reach you, but I’ve been an arborist for going on 24 years now. Do you get paid to perform trail maintenance work, or is it strictly voluntary? Either way, I’d love to get some contact info from ya on who to contact to do some trail maintenance work myself. BLM administration? Anyway, keep rocking the trails sir. Love your channel!
2 ๐๐ up bro stay safe out there ๐ค๐ฅพ๐บ๐ธ๐ผ๐ถ๐๐ฆด๐
I love your voluntary trail maintenance. ๐
You’re a good guy. I used to hike trails and pick up trash when I was younger. And Rocco is just so adorable. She loves to follow you up those summits. The antler shot was cute! Happy trails!
