I saw in the REI review section that the poles were a issue with the Wawona tent. Have you had any issues?

  2. @keepemwet on December 10, 2024 at 8:01 pm

Nemo Aroura Highrise 4 & 6 Person ? why have you not reviewed or compared this tent on your channel ?

  3. @Moondog9322 on December 10, 2024 at 8:02 pm

Looking forward to your camping lanterns and fans reviews. I have an old Coleman lantern which I inherited from my dad. It’s a really old one, but I think it works better than the new ones. I polished it all up and it looks great! Keep up the good work, Liz!

I love your vids as they are informative and very entertaining. Mask wearing is the only negative.

  6. @petervogt2014 on December 10, 2024 at 8:04 pm

These videos are fantastic! I am so frustrated by the reviews on other sites that don’t make it clear how they are rating things or how they are treating the equipment. This is such a great channel!

Best family tent comparison I’ve found so far!!!

How did the core cabin 10 hold up with the water test?

  12. @Deigan-pz4dr on December 10, 2024 at 8:14 pm

I know this is random but can you do a rain test for the North Face Stormbreak 2 just a suggestion.😊

  13. @ReallyRandomThoughts on December 10, 2024 at 8:14 pm

I have the orange Core 11P cabin tent with screen room and it has zip up window shades in the screen area. I have not tried it in the rain yet.

The gazelle t4 plus does not cost $1,000 in the US

  15. @mattssacre on December 10, 2024 at 8:17 pm

Got too excited and forgot to use your link. I really appreciate your videos. You’re awesome and have no need to be camera shy!

I’m aware of your reservations of the ozark tents, but could you review their Ozark 20-person Star tent? It looks so good, Walmart selling it for roughly $300 while ozarktrailshop is selling it for like $250. I can never see a video of it!

  17. @yamahass66 on December 10, 2024 at 8:17 pm

Looking for 100% waterproof like wawona. Every time you find something good there is no where to be bought at least to my country 😅 and rei complaining about broken poles and other things on their website. Need the waterproofing. Do you know any other 4 person tent thats not leaking?

  18. @franzeextender on December 10, 2024 at 8:17 pm

Can you recommend Air mattress. Or what’s the brand of that air matter you showed in the video?

  19. @adammenhennett on December 10, 2024 at 8:20 pm

Wow this was an excellent review. Loved the fact based approached. I have been wondering about getting a roof top tent, but i think after seeing your video i am fooling myself – i want one of those 10 person tents! 😂

  20. @alexandrest-denis624 on December 10, 2024 at 8:20 pm

What a good video, thx alot!

  21. @ENtR0PY1212 on December 10, 2024 at 8:21 pm

  22. @magspelican on December 10, 2024 at 8:25 pm

i really like that you have individual videos for the tents and comparisons as well. also itd be cool to see a vid on lanterns/why you chose the lanterns you have cuz i dont wanna buy a crappy one

edit: just read your pinned comment lol oops. so glad youre doing fans and lanterns next! also are you gonna sell any of your tents second hand online?

  23. @Deckardrick007 on December 10, 2024 at 8:29 pm

  24. @griggsgriggs7173 on December 10, 2024 at 8:30 pm

Canvas bell tents are worth there weight in gold.

  25. @PeterSchwarz-pe5lu on December 10, 2024 at 8:30 pm

I love my Winona 6 tent. It’s the best 3 season tent I’ve owned. I love how well it ventilates, and the waterproofing is incredible. It is a bit too breezy for winter camping so, I purchased a 4-season tent last year and love that too. Happy Camping!

  26. @RODGEJR2024 on December 10, 2024 at 8:30 pm

Have you done any reviews on darkroom/blackout tents only?

  27. @LeryRa on December 10, 2024 at 8:31 pm

Any recommendation for tents that won’t let dust in? Typically mesh walls or mesh ceilings aren’t great in that case… But it’s difficult to tell from your current videos which ones have mesh and which one can be entirely "closed" to prevent dust from going in. (This is for camping in a desert or very dry area with lots of very fine dust).

  28. @alejandraospina4252 on December 10, 2024 at 8:31 pm

    Thank you!

  29. @TaycanSWGOH on December 10, 2024 at 8:31 pm

This is by far the best family tent review that i have seen. Thank you!

Qq. I was wondering if you look into wawona 8. I feel like wawona 6 is a little bit small in terms of actual interior tent space (i have family of 5 with 3 kids).

  30. @jeremynonis4887 on December 10, 2024 at 8:33 pm

Could you do a review on the arpenaz 4.1 fresh & black from decathlon?

  31. @merchellevasquez2687 on December 10, 2024 at 8:33 pm

Can you pls review the snowpeak alpha breeze?

  32. @SloNet on December 10, 2024 at 8:33 pm

I would really love to see your reviews on the Exod Monolith and Overlandish Basecamps. Your reviews are awesome

  33. @JC_Chappy on December 10, 2024 at 8:36 pm

Cant recommend the Wawona 6 by Northface enough. Aside from the set up time (it is huge and Texas summers are HOT), i love mine. But because of how long it takes to set up, i decided to try the Gazelle T4 Plus and its awesome too.

Ive had the first version of the Wawona 6 for 5 years and it has been through hell and was all smiles on the other side. Even experienced a rain storm so bad that the floor was basically a waterbed. I have had to patch 2 tiny holes in the floor and i have a bent tent pole that Northface has promised to replace after 5 years. VERY IMPRESSED!!

  34. @PursuingTheBest on December 10, 2024 at 8:38 pm

Insane job on all of these! Thank you!

  35. @charliek2557 on December 10, 2024 at 8:40 pm

Do you think the Wawona 6 is big enough for an adult and 3 kids under 10?

  36. @glennsalud640 on December 10, 2024 at 8:42 pm

Wenzel klondike 8 person tents is good too, highly recommended.

  37. @abhi6443 on December 10, 2024 at 8:45 pm

air beam or normal pole tents which is better?

  38. @quick_pickle3465 on December 10, 2024 at 8:45 pm

Love your vids! Give the Wonderland X a try if you can catch it on a big sale. Very odd and cool tent.

  39. @KJGin213 on December 10, 2024 at 8:46 pm

    Love the content!

  40. @zepedacdg on December 10, 2024 at 8:48 pm

Excelent video again :), any here with the wawona 8? i want some comments i really love the wawona 6 but i need some extra space and i want to know if is worth it! Thank you

  41. @virginiacamper on December 10, 2024 at 8:48 pm

First, thank you for being so thorough and unbiased in your reviews. You do an awesome job! I would like to (eventually) see a review on the Nemo Aurora Highrise 6 Person Tent. A lot of bloggers are saying that it’s in a close second place with the Wawona 6…but I’m a little skeptical of the Hightise’s windows being held up with toggle, rather than zippers, and I’m curious to see how it holds up in a rain test.

  42. @JC_Chappy on December 10, 2024 at 8:48 pm

$1.5K for the Gazelle T4 Plus?!?! HOLY COW. i did not pay anywhere near that much last year for mine. Talk about Inflation!

  43. @jeremynonis4887 on December 10, 2024 at 8:50 pm

And thank you for your work

  44. @truthamazing5027 on December 10, 2024 at 8:52 pm

    nice

  45. @ladyug1497 on December 10, 2024 at 8:53 pm

Great review! Thanks for all ur insights! Saves me time from being undecided

  46. @PedroLiberal on December 10, 2024 at 8:53 pm

Hi liz! Quick question! I have a couple Quechua 2 second tents, and I think that the seam tapping might need redoing. Can you do a quick video on identifying damaged taping, and maybe taping itself? Or a short video on overall tent maintenance would also be very cool!

  47. @marxim3 on December 10, 2024 at 8:53 pm

Thank you for great video! Could you just check how much space is there in Wawona 6 (do 2 queen size beds fit)

This video sums up all the best big tents I’ve ever tested in the past 3 years, hope you won’t be too bored with them cos I haven’t had the budget to buy more at the moment. I’ve spent the last few months testing camping lanterns and fans, I’ll get those videos out soon in the old testing format you guys like! Thank you so much for all your support 🥰
