5 OASIS Hikes Palm Springs | Trails of Indian Canyon | Tahquitz Canyon Falls | Murray Canyon & More
Welcome to All Desert Explorers,
Journey with us through 5 Incredible Palm Springs Oasis Hiking trails. Springs in the desert await the weary for times of refreshing. Hikers and adventures alike will discover joy in a unique natural desert environment. Indian Canyon has many trail heads and oasis hikes to explore (we show 4 Trails). Then we explore Tahquitz Canyon Loop Trail, which is a stand alone trailhead, with a massive waterfall at the loop, making a total of 5 Oasis hikes that we showcase in this vlog.
Both areas have an entrance fee and Tahquitz requires a 32 ounce water bottle to enter. There is an awesome city life to visit in Palm Springs as well before or after your hikes. There is rock climbing, swimming, and adventure. The waterfalls delight and the natural pools draw you in for a swim to cool off. There is also a waterfall inside a rock cave to explore at Murray Canyon, don’t miss that experience.
All the incredible adventure hikes are in very close proximity. These Oasis trails are within a 5 mile radius, we did them all in a day, it’s up to each group to decide how much to bite off in a day.
Hikebytes recommends these trails in the spring or when it’s raining in Orange County or Los Angeles for some sunshine!
Palm Springs is a great travel destination to get sun and fun when everywhere else is caught in the rain. We love the food options after our hikes and often go for Thai food as a tradition we have adapted over the years, its so comforting and satisfying.

Can you tell me where you parked and the location you show where ask the s signs are for each hike?
These places are incredible! Looks like Palm Canyon in Borrego, but even grander and more spectacular
Lovely waterfall thanks for sharing the interesting places. 10:10
Very beautiful, thanks for your video
You know in Tahquitz canyon those vines are indigenous grapes found only in that canyon. They were food for the Native Americans over the centuries and also the sycamore trees are indigenous. I’ve been hiking those canyons all my life for over 60 years since I was a little boy with my grandfather.
