I actually just did the foam to my boat cooler. Its the cheap blue wall-mart cooler but it has wheels and fits perfectly in my Sea Ray. The lid was just hollow plastic though. I filled it with some high expansion foam. I will say to definitely tape off the lid, as the foam expands out of the holes it will stick to the lid and it’s a bitch to clean it off. Also get some peel and stick foam or rubber weather stripping. Put it all around the lid so you make a tight seal when closed. Those two things will almost double the melting time of ice in a cheap cooler.

i use a sleeping bad to insulate my cooler, Ice lasts twice as long.

Dude,if you’re just going to the beach, any $20 cooler is good enough for a day trip like that, no "hacks" or effort required. Best thing you can do is pre-chill the whole cooler if you have freezer space, and don’t put warm beer/whatever into it.

  6. Crazy WHITE BOY on September 16, 2019 at 6:32 pm

OH MAN THOSE BEACHES ARE WAY TOOOOO CROWDED

  12. 4 Hounds Who Heal on September 16, 2019 at 6:38 pm

Those 3 "hacks" could’ve taken less than 2 minutes to present. The rest of time was spent babbling.

  15. Roverman on September 16, 2019 at 6:42 pm

Yeti is the biggest crop of bullshit ever. The price for them is ridiculous. Ozark Trail cooler works just as good if not better than yeti. Only reason yeti became even really known about is because some woman made a video of a bear messing with her yeti. And now people use yeti as a status symbol. I make great money as a welding inspector on pipeline and I wont pay the idiot price for a yeti. Theres other coolers that work as good and some better than yeti. Why waste money just because of a name? That’s stupid.

That is a really good idea 💡…

  17. Michael Stutzman on September 16, 2019 at 6:43 pm

My igloo holds ice 100 times better than my yeti. Side by side comparison any way you want my p.o.s igloo is way better

Get all your ice at a hotel. Just walk-in and fill it up.

  25. Joe Cittadino on September 16, 2019 at 6:52 pm

I used Great Stuff for larger gaps and it didn’t cure inside the cavity. I shook the can for a full minute as instructed and the foam expanded fine outside the cooler when I tried it, but after 8 hours the inside of the cooler lid is just a mess of goopy yellow nasty smelling chemicals.

  26. MotoSyndicate on September 16, 2019 at 6:53 pm

Im from mobile and and am actually in pcola for work every day. I bought a 40 qt igloo and redid the cooling on it. Pretty happy with it. Plus noone steals it! 😅

  27. Blake Landrum on September 16, 2019 at 6:55 pm

How much difference did the foam injection make as far as insulating the cooler? Awesome video!

  28. Danny Quijada on September 16, 2019 at 6:55 pm

I used aluminum foil on the inside and the ice stayed frozen for three days.

  34. brandon hicks on September 16, 2019 at 7:03 pm

Everytime someone says jets sound like freedom it makes me ask at what point has America’s direct freedom been at jeopardy?…..never.

  35. Terry Postema on September 16, 2019 at 7:07 pm

You ever heard the saying, what the wife don’t know won’t hurt her. Haha

  36. Eric Jon DeRoos on September 16, 2019 at 7:08 pm

does the foam leave chemicals touching your ice?

  37. Sergio B on September 16, 2019 at 7:08 pm

Please stop looking away from the camera, it’s annoying and gets me dizzy!!! Other than that great content!!

  38. McScott76 on September 16, 2019 at 7:10 pm

I’m with you on resisting the Yeti bandwagon. They’re heavy as heck. They hold next to nothing compared to a comparably sized "regular" cooler. And once you own one, you spend all your time worrying that someone will steal it. All this to save yourself from buying an extra bag or two of ice every few days. I just don’t get the attraction. Plus, it feels a little douchey at this point. My wife offered to buy me one for Father’s Day. I said, no thanks.

  39. Reynaldo Aleman on September 16, 2019 at 7:11 pm

    That’s. Really. Sucks

  40. PhukDup MudClub on September 16, 2019 at 7:13 pm

If you dick Samantha down just right, you could take a shit in the Yeti and she wouldnt care. Sweet vid btw. 😉

  42. Fishin The 910 on September 16, 2019 at 7:14 pm

So any suggestions on how to get the foam off your entire left arm? It came spraying out of the hole like Niagara Falls all over me haha…..I’ll post an aftermath pic on your facebook page!

  43. 1982mako224 on September 16, 2019 at 7:16 pm

#1 Thing to make it last longer is keep a damp towel on top of everything in the cooler. Take your ice, beverages, fish, whatever and cover it with that damp towel and stuff the edges around the perimeter. You’ll be surprised how big of a difference this makes on smaller coolers.

  44. Kenny A on September 16, 2019 at 7:16 pm

    ARTIC is better than yeti

  45. Jim maria on September 16, 2019 at 7:18 pm

Be careful with that great stuff the ingreadiants in it is nasty..most of the foams contain formaldehyde. And i wouldnt want that around my food or drinks. If its in a cooler i would want it completely sealed off from the compartment

  46. Matt I on September 16, 2019 at 7:21 pm

Jack, great channel bu the way. Have a question as I have not seen a follow up. How are the PVC tubes working for Ice and keep things cool?
