Thanks so much! Fishing cold beers out of walls is a big part of my day… and the tutorial on electrical wiring / pulling was good too…

  34. Curt on September 16, 2019 at 7:06 pm

Thanks for the video. I learned something so wanted to reciprocate: you can run a wall sensor from the planned outlet location on up to the spot where you would insert the fishing wire. If there’s a fireblock then it saves you from making a hole. Building code says the integrity of a fireblock must be maintained so I’ve just slid over and picked a new spot so I didn’t have to mess with it. But I realize that may not be an option for some installs.

  42. JustMe on September 16, 2019 at 7:15 pm

About a minute and a half in, I see one of my pet-peeves of the industry. A bad habit common in the Industry. Why drill a hole damn near equal to the size of the wire, where it will only allow for the one wire? I used to do that when I first started. Very annoying when you return for an upgrade and you cannot add a new wire through the same hole. Cant enlarge the whole with out taking out the wire. So you have to get in there and drill another hole. Sometimes it’s bad enough the first time usually from an attic or crawl space. "Work smart, so you don’t have to work Hard"…my father always said.

  43. Dustin Krejci on September 16, 2019 at 7:15 pm

This is exactly what I needed when I needed!

  44. Richard Murphy on September 16, 2019 at 7:16 pm

  45. Gord Slater on September 16, 2019 at 7:17 pm

I break into office building at the weekends, cut holes in the drywall and look for beer.
Not going too well so far – any tips?

  46. Dustin Krejci on September 16, 2019 at 7:20 pm

    Boner!

  47. Tina Leanne on September 16, 2019 at 7:22 pm

And what if no clearance at the top of the wall and you have to drill up?

  48. JOSE TAYLOR on September 16, 2019 at 7:23 pm

I’ve seen this video before but it was much more complete and done much better guy. You’re behind the 8 ball trying to catch up at this point. Thank you anyways. I still watched the whole thing.

Can you do a video on how to mount a large television on a wall with aluminum studs instead of wood?
